Guangzhou and back in 4 days 3 nights

Day one

woke up at four am
mom started shouting at me like crazy for stupid taxis...
reached there and debated to put lugagge on board and some stupid stuffs...
mom wasnt in a good mood and she made me not in a good mood...
bought a chicken salad to eat on board
plane flew off at about 6
reached there at like 10am

the very first meal of the day, start it off gary's way
lol, no lah
checked in at bai gong hotel again, then went for breakfast at the same place we had noodles last time we were here
man, all throughout the trip my aunt kept ordering so much food we were all bloated all the time
what's hanis??
afterwards went shopping around the area
the usual candy shops all dissappeared
but the usual plastic bag shops were there
herbs and medicine shops
toys shops too...saw some Gundam sets there
now they were selling alotta dried seafoods
sea cucumbers, shark fins, sea dogs, sea chameleons, sea horses and sea snakes, baby abalone, and cigarettes and wines littered all over the place almost every corner u go
yup, china is like the city of smokers, almost cant breathe there...
there are like shops selling nothing but cigarettes and wines
around the corner we still managed to find some sweetshops
my aunt said last time was the period of the new year, thus people got sweets to celebrate, so this time around, not really in season, instead it was season for dried seafood
at some of the old marketplaces, got john's present, a skeleton mask!
then we took a ride on the guangzhou metro, s'pore terms, MRT
i gotta tell u, next time i neeta bring nick along
ppl around these parts are cRaZy
they push and snatch seats like mad
my aunt had a bad experience b4
she was going to sit on a seat when a girl, middle-aged, make-up and high heels and everything, just pushed her outta her seat
thats when my aunt learnt to be rough on the metro
she's been going to guangzhou for like 5 years now, doing her buissness
we were packed into the metro like sardines
plus sides- the rides were very cheap, like, 3 rmb=60cents
but if u ask me, i'll stick to our s'pore MRTs

this was one of the shops my aunt went for her supplies
cool eh?

pizza hut
we ate at a restaurant here
eating tian e rou(geese) lol
also saw a beijing olympics merchandise shop
saw alotta really neat stuff
also got nick's present
macdonalds
u know what?
ice cream cones here only cost S$0.50!
another of those shops
took a video
ok,
what doyah do when u're bored?
go bowling!
it was like 8rmb for a game=$1.60!
mom teaching renya how to bowl
not bad...
the top scorer in our lane for the day
renyue
mom talking about teachnique
nice try renyue

free water provided while u bowl
mom's turn
yup, the one on the top's my score, first round
second round score
after 2 rounds, went back to the hotel and watched tv
watched ugly betty and pushing daisies, both very funny
also watched this movie called right on track, some disney movie i nvr heard of
Day Two
woke up quite early
like, 7.30
then watched spain versus cant-remember
david villa's aewsome! scored 3 goals
final score was 4-1
fantastic
then was sweden and switzerland
quite boring
the only goal was scored pretty near the end
breakfast at a nearby restaurant
food is seriously cheap
and still got really full...
had to take away some stuff back to the hotel
rest of the day was just shopping...
cant remember anything else
Day 3

next
went to the church we went last time
phew, lucky it wasnt sunday
else there'd be tons of beggars there again
heres another picture of the mother mary statue there
it's exactly like it was 2 years ago
prayed awhile there
ok, i know i said i would take a picture of the tree in the church if i ever went back, but...that building was closed cos the main church finished rennovations, sry!
anws, the main building is like, so big and magnificent, took a video of the inside
if u went inside, u would seriously go " wow..."
diff angle

ok
afterwards went for more shopping
went to many of the places we came to last time
got new shoes and a t-shirt
also got shermaine's present at the up and down nine street
then went to tea town, literally
'
behold the professional tea maker's kit
tea cups, teapots, electric kettle, 3 sided stone figure, and etc
tasting the tea
demo of making tea
really really professional
drinking time!
see these?
make a guess what's that
those are tea biscuits
when i heard it i those they were biscuits to eat with tea
did u think that too?
actually they're tea leaves made into the shape of a biscuit for storing
putting them like that and then freezing in the fridge, u can keep tea leaves for up to 2 years
smelling the tea leaves
lookey here at the birdie!
look at all that tea
the shop was like, aromated
renyue and i were like, taking deep breaths of all that sweet smelling tea
...
gotta tell u, i beats any air fresherner ever created...
could go sniffing it all day long...
talked alot while drinking tea
plus this new kung fu tea
the others(red hong pao, tie guan yin and pu'er)

second day bowling
my top score, 107!
papa
renya and gugu
mom and renyue
papa bowling
mom's turn again
spare
le coq sportif shop
some night stalls
Last Day, Day 4
woke up very early, like 4 am
helped with the packing and stuffs
yup, thats our luggage
then went for some early breakfast
some clouds out the window on the way back

every night at the hotel we were buying satay from this stall and eating it back at the hotel like we did last time
gotta tell u, it's really superb
thats all for now
