2012 has left in such a hurry I havent had time to catch my breath!
2012 started starting very refreshingly, fresh out of the army with endless prospects in mind:
good job experience before school starts
legion activities
tuition and music teaching
promising uni terms
passion to sought dancing and languages: jap malay korean
enriching christian life and enriching others
however, as God has a plan, you can barely deny that everything has gone your way...
jan was restless for me, with no job or teaching opportunities
ended up at home expanding my empires and virtual wealth on facebook
gd side was i found an online Digimon gaming site! as well as many other online gems
and i watched my first Simple Plan concert!!!!! with the ever awesome Donny and Ralph!!
it was also my first IC event for legion, the Chinese New Year celebrations
although my second time planning such an event, where my first was quite bad
i still remember the failed games that time...as so upset that the marvellous schemes in my head didnt go as planned
i guess after growing up and experiencing more, my ideas are better and well formed, with the first hand experience triumphing over any idea one could have
although there were still things for me to learn, overall it was a great event =) pity those who didnt come =P
although it was a slow and unproductive month, of restless jobhunting, but it was a rare treat for me to rest, well maybe rest too much
feb was the start of my first Job, working at the King of Pomme Frites, a french fry shop at Nex. although the pay was little, it kept me busy and stimulated, reading stuffs during my shifts and learning languages as planned
although it was new, i learnt many things in the F&B line, as well as friends outside of my line; aka conventional pri-sec-jc-army circle
wont forget putri, laila, mei shi, sonia and all
as well as all the friendly working folk of the lane outside the serangoon mrt purple exit
taiwan xiaochi!

march was stretchy, with another OTC which didnt really accomplish much
seeing the Officers, they really had their work cut out
it also made me think how it should all go next time
the trend of declining legion activity quality and the member's perception and anticipation
i really have my work cut out for me...
i also grew work fatigue; similar to army, when we work, we may be working, but we gain this fatigue which builds up eventually
i guess that's why we need breaks and vacations
even the most virtous and meticulous of the hardworking ppl will need to rest before continuing an even longer and demanding journey
so my advice ppl: stop and rest before continuing
just realised, it's my first officer post after 6years of being a legionary
april was a comma
finally got an office job in MOE thanks to julia and her mom!
back in the gov sector again XP
but
it was a really nice place, although i was new it didnt really matter
i could fit in well, and i felt like i belonged there and as though i was there for long
also thankful for my part time colleagues

it was a period where i gained more experience too
from impromptu skills to office skills and interpersonal skills
i guess working to live really makes a difference from living to work =D
i also stopped working at KOPF to get more rest in my life....
unfortunately it closed after that
you'll see that now it is some rice wrap shop which is obviously alot more popular than KOPF
ALSO
it was the NYCO concert! =D
haha, many memories reminicsed, as well as many more made
it was another amazing and fun experience on stage with everyone, even though it was only one song!

lika, everyday after the dinner meetup(monday), tues was something else, then wed was a macs meet at sengkang XD hahaha certainly a most crazy time when someone has a car
may was another time of worry
many resolutions faded out
my body and mind were both weary and restless
a time of questioning and self examination
which was good, cos i turned to prayer and work
you could say it was a period of growth and maturity in thought
it was also good to have fun at the 庆功宴 with juniors, peers, seniors and teachers =)
like my presents much?
june was another meet up with CRYSI-Z at the malted milk!
really missed those times, we're no grown up now!

btw did i mention that since i worked at MOE, i've continued my reading habit? =D

but a Ian+Renyi one did XD
