almost perfect word to describe the status quo

BDESU

what difference is this to midyears?
and with 30 days left to exhaust all untapped resources
and cover up past procrastinated work
this is hardly a feat comparable to O levels
tensions, emotions, unimaginable and unparalleled atmosphere
the A's are not for the faint hearted


it took some time to get back up
but the motivations laid along the path were definitely more than sufficient to pull me together
without the slightest doubt, A's has just added another nemesis to their long winding list
we need more kinder bueno in here, hop to it

what do yah know?
it's post number 150th!
and it's exactly 2 years ago that urockirockeverybodyrocks.blogspot.com came online =)
been looking back at my past posts
some quite interesting
some plain BORING
and most fascinatingly, 2 years ago this day i just twisted my ankle really bad when skateboarding
literally hopped my way home, as well as around the house for the next couple of days...

what's same about now and 2 years back?
let's list them shall we?
when i started my blog, i was a perfect example of a "no-no"
it was like, the midst of prelims at sec 4!
haha, back then didnt really know what to call my blog and just whacked out this name
now, I'm still in the midst of prelims...A lvl prelims!
so it's O and A lvl prelims..

what's different?
ok, this is where things start to get more interesting!
now CRYSI-Z is in different schools...but still STRONG =)
watch out A's, we're gonna beat you flat like O's!
I'm blogging on my, laptop?, ok, notebook
compared to the desktop i was once confined to, sharing with a brother and sister XP
and i've got a phone finally after O lvls last year
so my phone's 2 years old
was the first phone i saw when i stepped into that starhub store
haha, seemed pretty nice, so just got it
then my brother and sister also got the same phone, only different color XD
we had the whole set, black red pink E65
now my calculator's this $143 instrument capable of graphing and drawing and all sorts
not to mention play super mario
compared with the $17 dollar one in sec school
with one game that's actually the test check!
i've got a new acoustic guitar for my birthday last year
upgrade from the old classical one mary-jiejie gave me last time
so now i can plug in amplifier to jam =)
i'm smarter, faster, stronger
and in some ways, dumber
but still, hey, I'm legally 18 =)
and when CRYSI-Z is done with A's, our sleepovers are gonna overload on the awesomeness =)
don't forget the gigs!!
can't really say much about other things since im quite tired
and tomorrow's chemistry paper 2 which im really banking to get my A!(hopefully..)
so i'll e-l-a-b-o-r-a-t-e some other time after prelims
all in all, it's been quite a 180 degree swing around life
not a very fantastic 2-year post huh? haha

the best physics paper i've done
nevertheless, have loads to know about
took leave from office XD
played minesweeper the rest of the day...

had a chat with ryan in school
gd times, gd times..
once again, im struck with the harsh realities
hey, not being attached has its benefits too
i just cant think of any right now XP

don't get me wrong
relationships are fine
it's just a matter of who when where why
feasibility, managibility
i doubt anyone would mind a partner in the course of A lvls
the extra motivation would boost us considerably
it is just what happens when the project develops into something disastrous

with a four-day weekend ahead of me
i hope procrastination doesn't get the best of me
i'm really hooked on You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift!

once again reminded and awed by my cousins
keke's teaching physics at MJC
bingbing's at NUS Life Sciences course, and in 2003 A lvls he got 4 As
awestruck...

without the slightest indication or as much as a signal light
the depression bug stung me deep
my library of thoughts all classified and cataloged
all suddenly came crashing down like dominoes
and the aftermath, I'm still wondering what hit me in the head, hard
breathing seems a exasperating chore which only purpose ensures the next moment can occur

Saturday - East District Youth Day 09!
Sunday - first meeting, chinese group official brainstorm initiation
Monday - study at school with shi wee pauline liyun andre
Tuesday - physics tuition at home
Wednesday - "studying" at Esplanade with CRYSI-Z, Holy Hour at Church
Thursday - study at school with andre
Friday - study at school with usual 5+1, SSO concert at Esplanade with ziyang
Saturday - physics tuition at home
Sunday (today) - official-ization of chinese group!

after a week of September (and mindless watching of D-Gray Man XP)
we're going back to school!
to exams
to work and stress
more importantly
to bustling life & friends =)
be it productive or wasted
no time for regrets and idling
grit your teeth and brace yourself
Term 4 is in session!

TOMOROW
hello, i'd like a table for one

and i'd like a really big pen

the next 3 weeks are operation overdrive!

in the midst of Teachers' Day and going back to MSHS
reminded of some things that i feel powerless to change
how can one make a difference at this stage?
as i watch it free-fall down to the ground at break-neck acceleration
i can see it shattering into millions of smithereens already..
