catching up on the past while forfeiting the present?




rewind back to March 2
finished a most exhuasting block test that i was so not prepared for...
junlong's birthday was on 3rd march
managed to put a note for him on his big b-day card =)
ayah, only sad thing is i didnt get to cake kai ting and junlong...saded
next time i wanna cake shunan XD

thrus was the best maths lesson EVER
we went to the hall for TOTO !
haha
their way for us to understand statistics, p and c chapter XD
ayah, damn sad case lor
no one won anything
only the last round one class finally won
and they won e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g
the toblerone and +++++
what the heck, but it was damn fun+ funny XD
best maths lesson ever
mr wong even went to experiment buy 4D XD

after that was The One auditions
that time i was still playing guitar so still ok for me
wasnt alotta ppl there...
and i noticed our band super ding tay
use the most equipment XD
but also did most of the logistics, yupyup
kevin's band was seriously not bad
liked his effects =)
i so gotta get electric with pedal...
i want the video of our auditions!!! cahindra!!!

sat was sports carnival
opps, so NOT!
haha
it was raining when i reached the bus stop XD
but still got there and brought kai ting over the the shelter
house exoc alotta ppl this year
but all very hyper =)
they were singing hot n cold in the rain under umbrellas XD
super cool
then talked til the rain stopped
quite a sight...seeing NYJC-ians trapped in the rain
then went for breakfast at BK with couple o 0916-ians
hahahaha, nvr knew so much happened there
what with gay partners and transexual relations!!!
went to somerset watch kong fu chefs and play pool in the first time for so long...
then shunan lost my umbrella XD

did i forget it was rachel's bowling party the same day?
nope, i didnt, but still reached 3 hrs late XD
i must have like, the worst sense of direction EVER from my mom XD
i think i took 81 instead of 8, and ended up somewhere at pasir ris...zzz
fed up, took taxi to safra
and got such a awesome score at bowling =)
triple digits!!!
the food there is pricey...
then played pool with clarissa
haha, alotta funny moments
missing the ball, free ball!!!

reached home like 9+...zzz

sunday was crazy...
took leave from meeting for service learning
but still ended up being late by half hour, got quite a telling off by keisha
ok...totally not prepared for what lay ahead at Kranji
we treaded into knee deep mud searching for horse-shoe crabs
quite demoralising at first, cos couldnt find any...
but, ok, gained resilience =)
working with the NUS ppl was really, unforgettable
feel like i cant wait to meet them again...
dinner with ck wt jw benny at west mall...
note to self, wear boots next time

monday was archery in school!
supposed to be in the tennis court but it was raining
haha, but i think archery in the container classrooms while doing homework at the same time was waaaaaaay cooler+ fun-er =)
took turns to shoot 3 arrows, then went back to "try" do afew maths questions XD
the instructors was really cool, and lawrence with his reverse psychology XD
ayah...saded, couldnt hit 2 of my targets...
the ballon is JYNXED!

the top groups were really *whistle*

wed was The One rehearsals
did i mention they changed me to lead singer?
yeah, we got in, and they changed me to lead singer...
cos of the song we were gonna sing, super saded for the week...
rehearsals were horrible for me...wasted so much time...
sins and tragedies...
hoped it would turn out gd...
things really looked bleak...
did i mention i had a sore throat from orientation?

friday was last day of school!
also the career seminar
had quite afew interesting talks
i dont mind coming back to NY for relief teaching =)
the video from MOE was really inspiring...but not sure im up for such a job
the social services on was wasted...
The One
preparations was tiring...
but the entire process was
stressful
unbarable
fun
enjoyable
regrettable
unlucky
unique
shocking
enlightening
UNFORGETABLE
being with the other groups and soloists
it was really great fun in the end =)
it wouldnt have made any difference if we all werent such great NYJC-ians =)
truly memorable...

sat was CO and games with the J1s
the usual, but still fun 大风吹
new version of egg chicken game XD
egg chicken penguin bird phoenix XD
and of course, our 食字路口
kar hui jun he yong siang kai jie melanie ling yan chong chao
overall it was gd to a certain extent (pardon me, it's gp thats spilling out)
quite afew ppl could mix with everyone
but some clearly still, mumming...
oks, hope practices fix that

sunday was intensive homework day b4 the holidays broke free...









did i mention i have a 500 word Econs research paper due 2morow?
and im utterly clueless
lets leave the holidays til next time
